“Sole2Soul therapy is my
modern approach to
traditional therapy.
Come walk, hike or just shuffle with me to help your mental health”
I believe exercise, no matter how much or how little, can create a positive change in our mental health. Research shows that even a walk around the park can help jump start a mood-enhancement effect. Sole2Soul is about getting out of your office or home and on to the sidewalk, park, or trail, alongside an experienced therapist. I believe in a whole-person approach to therapy with exercise to help release endorphins that help the mind see clearly and work on life situations.
Mind and Body.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate and interactive. I believe in realistic goals and treatment for my clients. To me, therapy is a journey--just like life.
I have been a licensed MFT for more than 10 years and have worked, lived and raised a family in the Conejo Valley since 2003.
It’s been proven--regular, moderate exercise takes your mind off your worries, helps you gain confidence, initiates healthy coping strategies and can give you positive social interactions. The exercise effect on depression and anxiety actually lasts longer than medication. And you are less likely to relapse with a continued exercise program. It’s time to get up and get out with a therapist who can listen and help while you walk and talk, and simply make your life better through being outdoors.
